The collection of short stories "Time is up" is an attempt to capture reality, create a mold of the present and peer into the future. Thirteen famous contemporary Russian writers — Andrei Rubanov, Sergei Shargunov, German Sadulaev, Eduard Verkin, Alexander Ilichevsky, Alexander Snegirev, Alexander Pelevin, Alexei Salnikov, Dmitry Zakharov, Ksenia Buksha, Vadim Panov, Alisa Ganieva, and Denis Dragunsky — turn to the genre of dystopia and thinking about what's to come. The thirteen stories written for this collection are thirteen separate worlds, alternative realities, unlike one another: fantastic, conditional, realistic, grotesque.
