Olga B.A. van den Akker is a professor of health psychology at Middlesex University, UK. She has previously authored two books: <i>The Complete Guide to Infertility: Diagnosis, treatment, options</i> (2002) and <i>Reproductive Health Psychology</i> (2012) and co-edited the <i>Handbook of Diet, Nutrition in the Menstrual Cycle, Preconceptions and Fertility</i> (2014). She has also written numerous chapters, reports, scientific journal articles and presented at scientific conferences and national and international media providing expert information and advice on a range of reproductive health matters.
