<div><b>Ramanjaney K Upadhyay</b> is an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Madras, Chennai. He holds a Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, and Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Before joining the IIT Madras, he taught courses on English Language and Linguistics at GLA University, Mathura. He has a keen interest in Indian English, socio-pragmatics, and translation. He has published numerous research papers in respected journals as well as two translated books. His current interests are Indian English and Indology.<br></div>
